Les Baugh – County
Les is a lifelong resident of Shasta County and has a long history
of serving the residents of Shasta County. Currently he is serving
on the Shasta County Board of Supervisors since 2006 and is the
current Board Chairman. He represents the Board on the several
boards and committees including Area Agency on Aging, Regional
Transportation Board, Local Agency Formation Commission, Airport
Land Use Commission, Resource Advisory Committee, and Regional
Council on Rural Counties. Additionally, he currently serves as the Pastor and Board Member for the Anderson Community Church and is on the Mercy Hospital Advisory Board. Past public service includes 4 terms on the Anderson City Council and serving twice as Mayor. Past volunteer service includes Planning Commissioner, Fire Board Director, County Jail Counselor, and Chamber of Commerce President.

Career Working in Municipal Public Works with retirement from the City of Redding Current Activities: Chairman of the Hat Creek Valley Fire Safe Council, Member of the Burney/Hat Creek Community Forest Collaborative Group President of the Redding Chapter of the Retired Public Employee Association
Rick Kyle – CAL Fire Chief, Shasta Trinity Unit
Rick has served in many positions since becoming permanent with CAL FIRE in 1986. Fire Captain: Intermountain Conservation Camp, Bieber Station/Helitack Base, Butte Unit, Fire Emergency Command Center, Battalion Chief to Lassen Modoc Unit’s Training and Safety Officer, Bieber Battalion Chief, Lassen Modoc Unit Administrative Division Chief, Intermountain Camp Division Chief, Central Division Operations Chief Shasta-Trinity Unit. Additionally, Rick is a CAL FIRE Peace Officer and served as a Shasta County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy. He is the Cascade Area’s Supervision 2 Course Coordinator, and he has served on the Shasta Cascade Hazardous Materials Response Team
