If you are not already a partner, you are invited to become a part of the Shasta County Fire Safe Council. This partnership is an important component of our team, supporting the many programs that help your community. If you do not wish to be a partner, donations to support our efforts are greatly appreciated.
In spite of our successes, our work is never done. Many of the identified projects in the
plans are on the shelf waiting for funding. All of the older projects are in need of maintenance. Natural or man caused wild fires continue to occur. Moreover, to make our work harder, grant funding has become severely restricted due to the current downturn in the economy.
